"We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were quite large and spacious. It was also very clean! Which is nice to see. The beds are also comfortable. I wasn't expecting that. They even had 2 extra decent sized blankets in the dresser for the beds. Love that since it was a little chilly. The pillows for the bed are not great I wish those would be replaced with softer pillows. The staff seemed nice. There was some muffins and fruit but they seemed like the items upon arrival the day before still sitting there. The apples looked sad and muffins ... who knows how long they were there. We didn't have any. I'd want them to change out daily otherwise I wouldn't eat those. It's walking distance into town (even tho it sits towards one end. We walked to everything. Very very nice. Wed stay again."

"Four family members shared a large room for 4 nights. The room was clean and comfortable. The customer service offered by the staff was top-notch. I arrived 3 hours before the sister that had reserved the room. Her last name is different than mine so I couldn't check into the room. The desk clerk first tried to reach her by phone but could not. At that point, instead of giving me a blank stare (as if to say 'what can I do? It's motel policy. You're out of luck,') she instead came up with a solution, and I was able to check in. I appreciate her commitment to customer service. We noticed this same positive, customer-focused attitude throughout our stay. I would definitely return."

"We had a wonderful time in Cayucos. The hotel was nice, clean, and very dog friendly. We had a King suite, upstairs, on the end nearest the road. I was concerned it was going to be too noisy but it was pretty quiet. Traffic is minimal later in the evening. We took our dog with us, There is a nice area on the property for the dogs to do there business. Also a place to wash the dog if needed. All the staff were pleasant. We'd definitely go again."
