"Lake San Antonio was very desolate on a Wednesday. I encountered five employees, and I saw two visitors' cars. The park is beautiful and full of wildlife. The lake is as full as I have seen it. If you want a wildlife adventure, come to Lake San Antonio."

"I went to lake San Antonio for a weekend camping trip on the north shore, it was amazing being there, it was silent the entire time and warm. well, mostly silent. military does fly around so if you see big grey planes or hear loud jets it's normal for some days, it wasn't disturbing for me but just a thing to know. the stars at night are very bright and it doesn't get too cold. also you can fish here. there's a lot of camping there on both sides and every spot I saw looked very nice. I couldn't name one bad thing about this place except maybe that last time I went they had all the fire pits removed, probably because of fire danger going up. so watch for that if your wanting to do a fire. also they do have bathrooms."

"This place has nothing, almost nothing to enjoy. You got to get your own boat and pay fee if you are so desperate about boating in this lake. The day use fee for car ( no boating ) is 15 dollars but there is nothing in the park for you to enjoy. It's a complete waste. There is no restaurant, you got to get your own food / picnic basket if you want to eat. The wildlife is gone, there is no water birds in the lake, we did not see any deer or eagle which they claim they have. I saw some people camping there in the south shore and few people boating or swimming near the shore. Never going back."

"I love this campground, but it needs Help. The campsites need some serious cleaning. A large portion of the park looks abandoned and the water at the campsites is contaminated. The water is safe to wash dishes, but it's not safe to drink. I pray the county gets the funds needed to make this a 5 star campground again!"
