"We loved our stay in the Bay Room - you certainly can see the bay, and the fireplace was very nice! The room and the entire inn are so quaint and cozy, with a lot of homey decor and other touches. Homemade breakfast was really lovely as well - we had a different breakfast entree every day, and they were all delicious. Angela and the other staff are all very kind and attentive. Parking was very close and free, and the trail along the coast is not even a 5 minute walk downhill. We would love to stay here again when we're back in the area - either in the Bay View room again or in a new room!"
"Location is the only benefit to staying here. Can walk to anything you need and only a block or so from awesome ocean views. The room was very dusty. Can tell they just do a quick clean, the dust on the bedframe isn't just from a week or two. Rug in room needs a deep clean. Bed was super comfortable though. When booking small bed and breakfasts I expect the cleaning to at least match big chains. For the price, this place was a miss."
"Great little B&B that is centrally located in Pacific Grove. Walking distance to cannery row, the aquarium and the monarch butterfly sanctuary. The rooms were clean and everything worked well (for such an old house). We had no problems. There is a nice sitting room downstairs and a beautiful patio where you can watch the butterflies and hummingbirds. The staff was very helpful and there was always coffee and water in the lobby. Be sure to talk to them before you head to the aquarium. They were most helpful."
"The location of this inn is great. Walking distance to the beach, nearby trails, great restaurants. Angela was also very nice and gave us a warm welcome. Unfortunately, I will not return. We stayed at the Otter Cove Room and it had that really old, moldy house smell. The carpet under the bed also looked like it wasn't vacuumed very well. The windows have no screens so if you open the windows, you're inviting all the bugs from the garden (which is lovely) to come into your room. And finally, the bathroom. Honestly, if it wasn't for the bathroom, I would have better memories of this inn. The water pressure in the shower is the lowest I have ever experienced. I honestly did not even feel clean after showering there. I understand it's an "old" inn, but they could at least renovate the showers. The water trickled down from the shower head. Maybe showers in other rooms are better, but in the Otter Cove Room, it was horrible. The towels also had a blonde hair on it (my husband and I both have black/dark brown hair), which made me feel so gross after already using it to dry myself."
"What a beautiful B&B! Stayed for one night, but wish it could have been longer. There is a beautiful garden with seating as you walk up to the property. I saw many hummingbirds flying around. The inside is cozy and clean. My room had an incredibly comfortable bed and a huge tub with jets. Staff was lovely. Hoping to return for another stay!"
