"We echo what all the other great views say- cozy, great location, yummy breakfast, friendly service! We were able to park at the hotel each time we needed to, but also felt very comfortable parking on the street or in the auxiliary lot if it came to that. Parking was very easy for us in/around Carmel. Lots of things close in Carmel by 6pm, so this room was cozy to return to with our fireplace each evening!"

"The staff at the front was very friendly and receptive, the rooms themselves are gorgeous and well kept, and the location is prime. We were right in the heart of downtown and just minutes away from anything you could want to do in downtown Carmel. Aside from serving a very good breakfast (french toast when we went!), they also have cookies and a wine hour (with a solid spread of wines). As a heads up, parking can fill up sometimes but we were able to find street parking pretty easily about a block down the street."

"The service was impeccable and the breakfast really good for American standards (fresh eggs, fresh fruit and bagels/bread and croissants). No plastic plates or cups. The housekeeping was very, very good. The rooms always impeccable. As the windows go out to the court, and people who passed by could peak inside, we had to keep the shades closed which was a pity. Also we could also hear a bit the neighbors. The location could not be better. All in all, worthwhile stay and very good value for the money."

"Very cute and cozy bed and breakfast on the edge of downtown Carmel. We've been very happy with our stay in a deluxe king with fireplace. The fireplace is a great touch, especially if you're staying in winter or on a cold evening. Very happy with the bathroom, which features a very roomy, deep bathtub if you enjoy taking baths. The holiday ambiance is great, and we love that it includes both a great breakfast and a wine and cheese hour, featuring cheeses, red and white wine, and some great desserts. Staff have been really friendly! Also loved that they offered us mimosas Christmas morning - it made it feel special. Room was very clean and cozy. As a heads up your room may have windows that look out on the main walkways - it was never awkward or busy outside so we didn't mind that. Parking is quite tight so getting there close to check-in time is recommended. Within walking distance of lots of shops, restaurants, and the beach."
