"No hot water yesterday and no water today. The front desk staff is useless and have no idea how to handle the situation. The manager is NEVER on duty . What is the point of paying money for lodging when they cannot provide the most basic necessities. There was NO communication with the guests instead all the front desk staff said was “how was he supposed to know” … I don’t know the future either but an experienced team or an establishment knows how to handle a client and compensate accordingly. Plus they charge for daily parking. Stay across the street at Hampton Inn instead"
"I can't leave a good review. Their new $10 per day parking fee appears nowhere in the booking information. They informed me of it when I checked in, and coincidentally there's a cancellation fee if I decline. That's a hidden 10 percent upcharge. Hotel is meh.. could use new carpet and a good cleaning."
"My husband registered for the free shuttle to airport in the early morning and I stayed at the room myself in the morning. It was about 09 am. Someone opened my door and then closed the door right away. I was shocked and opened the door to check it out. There was a staff wanted to clean the room and didn't know I was still at the room. He apologized right away so it is fine. The front desk called me and asked me when I would leave rudely later. The check out time is at 1100 am. Why you ask me when I would leave at 0930 am. I went to front desk to check out at 1000 am. I was pretty upset at the time. The woman at the front desk heard my room number and asked me that someone at your room left, right? I told her that's my husband who had an early flight to catch. then she said oh, I misunderstood and thought there was nobody at room. Hello~! The reservation was one room two persons which was under my name. then she said she is sorry. It is a very unpleasant experience."
"We stayed here because our flight was leaving the next morning from San Jose. The room and service were decent. The room did have a smell of cigarette despite no smoking being allowed there. The main complaint I have is the breakfast. Normally when I stay at the Holiday Inn Express, they have a waffle iron with waffle mix and I can make my own. Here they are already made but I'm not sure what they are using to make the waffles but they are definitely not fluffy or soft. It seemed that all of the pastries were stale and hard. I asked the person that was over the area to make me some fresh waffles and all he did was take the old waffles and put them into the microwave for 30 seconds. Now they were very hot on the outside but still hard as a rock on the inside. I ended up throwing most of the breakfast away. The breakfast is not the breakfast I am accustomed to eating at the Holiday Inn Express's hotel chain."
"This is my first time at this hotel , check in was good and quicker . But rooms are not so good which we pay for , old non renovated room with lot of issues . 1. The restroom door was very noisy and exhaust in the restroom was not working - when I mentioned out to reception , no action about the issue but asked “ you want to change room” . I don’t see a Maintainence team nor someone checking on issues such on regular basis I guess . The floor while I checked in was sticky and stinking , I got a house keeper to get a air freshener for me daily . The previous guest might got a pet which was stinking badly . 2. Break fast - The spread was good with usual buffet , but staffs was eager to close at 9am and exactly the doors and they start accessing the buffer . Even your 5 mins delay would be difficult to grab the food . Since it’s in center of offices you should be opening till 9:30 or allow with grace time 5 mins delay . Floors were good with carpets and lights . The best - Ms. Claudia was housekeeper on daily basis and she said as very good at work and pretty neat everyday. Not allowing to add photos , so I couldn’t post my pictures here ."
