"Love this place, the pool, the grounds, the complimentary snacks, wine, and breakfast. 100% will return and recommend!"
"Not satisfied. We came here for a nice needed getaway from our toddler to rest. Didn’t happen. We were in 206 for the night and heard every single footstep and toilet flush above us. So very loud. Which somehow our upstairs neighbors decided to stomp around at 4am? Thin walls / ceilings. We left tired and nobody cared to ask us how our stay was upon check out. Adding insult to injury we paid another $80 for resort fee and taxes on checkout. For what? For a horrible night. Great thanks! Find a place w thicker walls and who actually care how your experience was."
"I would give it 6 stars if I could! This is EXACTLY what you envision when paying the price to come to Napa Valley. Everything was so luxurious, clean and upscale. Drinks on arrival, seasonal drinks by the pool, incredible service and the best included breakfast I’ve ever experienced. Amazing location, amazing amenities and the best bed I think I’ve ever slept on."
"We stayed recently for 3 nights and had an overall wonderful experience. We did have confusion when we tried booking via Chase regarding whether we were staying at the Vintage House or the Villagio which are located close enough to each other (~5 min walking distance). Regardless, we enjoyed our stay at the Vintage House. The hotel properties are very conveniently located in Yountville where it's easy to walk over to restaurants, other hotels, and some wineries. The room we stayed at had a nice cozy feel to it and the bathroom was clean. The room was nicely stashed with water (in light of the recent water issue in California), snacks and we even got a complimentary bottle of Rose! The breakfast which was included with our stay was decent with pastries, yogurt, cut fresh fruits and juices, hard boiled eggs. We enjoyed a night at the bar at the Villagio (full service bar v. the smaller bar at the Vintage House) and although the service was slightly slow the staff were very friendly and we enjoyed some live music. We also were able to enjoy the small pool and fitness center. Overall we had great and friendly service, a nice room and dining experience. We'd be interested to stay at the Villagio next time!"
"Two bad experiences at Vintage, first one was 2020 during the pandemic. I reserved a room, thinking the masks and the isolation would end soon. I guessed wrong. So I called well in advance, prior to the cancellation period, to cancel. It took two billing cycles on my credit card for the charges to be taken off even after calling them on several occasions. Needless to say, I was a bit upset and swore never to patronize the place again. I didn’t do any business with them after, until I did my second mistake in 2022 when I reserved a bungalow for my 15th wedding anniversary. On that day, I drove by a bit early to confirm with the valet as to everything was a go. No indication of any problem. So later when at 4:00 check-in time, the desk clerk told me there was water damage to our bungalow from the night before rain-storm but he offered a room at the associated resort but at a slight discount. This didn’t sit well with me but nevertheless I went to check-out the room. I was not happy with how this was going as this was to be a very special evening for my wife and I. There had been no rain the entire afternoon. We ended up leaving and being very disappointed with the handling of our situation. We were not offered another bungalow. We had to ask for our deposit back. The following morning, it was sunny and bright. We walked by the Vintage House resort where the bungalows were and saw no sign of any construction or any type of tarp that would indicate rain/water damage. We’re we “bumped” because we were just staying overnight? Is this a standard practice for you? This incident has left us very sad and disappointed in what was suppose to have been a very special occasion…we feel very disrespected."
