Crab Park Ferndale, CA 95536

"Cool little spot at the end of the road that leads to the ocean area. My son and i took the drive there after work. We deliver auto parts all over CA and took the opportunity after dropping off in the area.. We were more so looking for a place to eat but found a nice little relaxing spot. Lots of dead wood debris to sit on etc, around the area. If permitted it looks like a cool little spot to camp. It's called cannibal island though lol. We ended up just taking in the view and having a little picnic there."

"It was okay. I had an expectation mismatch coming from Baybrea on what a beach looks like. We got to a bad start because of the foul smell as soon as we entered the beach. Probably because how remote this was. But overall not well kept. Lots of burnt woods spread across the beach area."

"Crab park was really cool! We all had a great time, sifting through the sand on the beach, taking pics, wading in the water, collecting tons of pretty, neat rocks. Playing in the clay. We even accidentally found a cluster of little crabs that were hiding under a log on the beach. They were so cute!! The beach was pretty clean. There was some trash at the beginning of the sand.... I would recommend visiting crab park, the road to the beach really is terrible though."

"Wonderful Eel River and Beach area, with beautiful farms along the way. Lots of skipping rocks, cool logs, clay, and bog brush about. Great bird watching, photography areas, and looks like fishing spots and surfing too. Small beach fires allowed. Parking is limited. Check nearby island. Towns of Loleta and Ferndale are well worth visiting, picturesque, great places for film makers."
