"This was a one night stop for my family, on a road trip. Rv was 28' and fit well into its space. There was a table water and electric at the site sewer as well just too far back for me to use because of our hose length. It was so quite, and lovely. Bathroom were dated but clean."
"This is a very cute little privately owned park near Trinidad, CA. We rented one of the spots that backs up to the beautiful trees & you can see the ocean across the street. Recommended this area of the park for its large trees & privacy. We thought it was beautiful. Quiet park, laundry facility was clean, well priced, and all the machines were in working order. We went into Trinidad & had dinner, went to beach, and a winery. Locals were very friendly. The park surrounds what may be the owners home so we felt like private guest on their property which has wonderful tree’s & landscaping."
"Travel trailer..no room review. I'm quite surprised by the negative reviews. We really liked this place with lots of flowers, well maintained bathrooms, hookups, and so quiet. We did hear "sounds" of the Sea; waves and seals, but as they note, it is across the road from the ocean that is down a bluff. "Sounds" not beachfront. As I read the reviews I note that some complaints were based on issues with much larger rigs than ours..ie water pressure for washers, deposits for cable, room for slide outs, distance from neighbors. We had very pleasant and helpful contact with staff. The office is open from 12:00-4:00, but the phone number is posted on the door and we were immediately helped with our last minute needs. Truly, they are right there. They just aren't sitting in the office waiting.. I think they live nearby. DO pay attention to the info they send about directions and NOT Google. There is road damage that narrows to one dirt lane with a 1' drop in one place. Hazardous for RVs! The next exit is easy. I recommend this park and we will come again."
"I hate to be critical of something that serves as an income for someone but fellow campers beware. Terribly neglected park. Rundown with very misleading pics. Platforms for the picnic table (#4) are rotted and dangerous to walk on. Workout room is unusable and filthy. The pic does not display the actual facility. The “pet preserve” is a small un-mowed field where your pets just run loose and poop wherever. The views are very limited and only on the upper level of the park. We will not stay here again and we would not recommend it to our friends."
"*TOTAL NEGLECTED PARK* We visited this RV park in September of 2022. Their website says Sounds of the Sea "strives to be 'The Place to Stay' for the traveling RV community by providing friendly staff, clean and safe facilities and an attitude of exceptional service." THIS IS NOT THE CASE! Never saw any staff; their office is closed & you have to call them for everything. The park is rundown, & clearly had its time of being a great park, but it is NEGLECTED. Their laundry room is DISGUSTING; the machines are decades old & apparently have never been cleaned. They had all their restrooms & shower facilities closed. The "gym" is a hodgepodge of old yard sale used gym equipment, & placed in an oil smelly garage. Sounds of the Sea should be ashamed & embarrassed. Their grounds have trees that need trimming. Truly a neglected park, that at one time was very beautiful, fun, clean, & friendly."
