"Long time customer of the co-op. I feel years ago the staff actually cared and it was a great place to buy organic groceries. I no longer feel this way, I really have to watch expiration dates, some of the staff seem upset that I am even shopping there and this is weird but I’m pretty sure the meat dept mixes old ground beef in with fresh beef. I feel they might care about something but it’s not organic food that’s for sure. It’s a bummer to in my opinion watch this place go down hill."
"Produce that last in your fridge longer than any other grocery coporate store. No gross, limp - mold prone produce. Very well run co-op store ! They clean the coolers very well I should know I used work there. :) I am super grateful they are open and going strong."
"Love love this place! I don’t have any ownership here, but after this trip, I will be getting one. The sales are great. I believe products are cheaper here than Whole Foods. I love their Hot Bar. Yesterday I got a delicious dish and went back to get more, it was out for the day and someone told me that recipes are on line. I was pretty excited. I did however get addicted to a honey bar even though I hate honey! That is why I was there 2 days in a row. Honey Mamas should be your new favorite bar too! Oh, and I seem to be addicted to their vegan pumpkin bread. Dense, full of flavor, just like your Grammas pumpkin bread is there all year round! Staff are nice and place is very clean. Nice to see staff just straightening out products on the shelves."
"I have nothing but contempt for the prices here. Hot bar and takeaway is just gross cafeteria food. I only make occasional visits because of the convenience. A few basic pantry staples and you are easily looking at $40-$50, not including any type of meat."
"Decent for a co op, compared to the four or five dozen I’ve seen across the country for work. Terribly unhealthy hot food bar (basically an Olive Garden pasta bar on Wednesdays), and lots of grab and go products are neither organic nor are made without inflammatory seed oils. Lots of fake health stores out there. These guys have to be careful not to keep falling into that trap."
