"Don’t buy a thing from this con-artist. He cuts corners as referenced by his informal delivery person “just a friend”, the driver called himself, doesn’t deliver quality product, not to mention that he is a thief, swindler, and petty person! Hands down the worst American seller I have ever dealt with on Etsy. Ordered a $$$$ custom table, Steve charged us for white glove delivery with installers. We never got notified of delivery time, he sent single driver slides damaged table out and tries to leave it in pieces in our driveway. When confronted at time of delivery, driver stated he knew nothing of white glove option and was directed by Steve to “just leave the table outside here like I’ve done with the others”. (So beware he just leaves your $$$$$ table outside in the elements with no warning!) I requested to check the table for damage before the driver left, and/or for the driver to remain and install the table with contracted movers I would have to call at that moment since I wasn’t given an accurate delivery window to schedule moving assistance. Driver calls Steve who proceeds to call me directly and vehemently argue and even scream that white glove delivery was not included, and that the table doesn’t need to be checked for damage, “it’s fine”. The driver finally unwrapped the table for my review and we did find damage, extensive to the underside and sides and moderate damage to the table top and base. Driver sends pictures of the damage to Steve who tells the driver to take the table back, sends a cheery message asking to replace the table in Etsy as if he didn’t just scream at me on the phone and call me a liar, and is surprised when I refuse replacement and request a refund. Then he calls me a “dishonorable person”, backtracks in the same chat and says I refused the delivery not that he directed his driver to take the table back, and refuses to refund my order, essentially trying to keep both my money and the damaged table. If you absolutely insist on buying something from this joker, you’d better protect yourself and do it through Etsy or Paypal so you can get a refund when he inevitably s you over. UPDATE! Like another reviewer on this thread, Steve threatened to sue and take me to small claims court! Good luck, Steve! You’re the one who has possession of the damaged table!"
