"I moved to the Southside area from Brown Deer back in late 2017. While living in Brown Deer my favorite Chinese restaurant was in Menomonee Falls which wasn't that far. Unfortunately since moving to the Southside I couldn't find a Chinese food restaurant at least for me that was up to par. Believe me when I say I tried many Chinese restaurants, its an understatement. I realize everyone has different taste and mine was just not being fulfilled. I actually stumbled across this restaurant on my way to an appointment. I decided I'd give it try. I thought to be safe I'd keep it simple ( beef fried rice, shrimp egg foo young, crab rangoon and an egg roll) this was around lunchtime and was also takeout. The service was quick and very friendly. I couldn't wait to get home because it smelled so good but even with that I was still thinking this may be another disappointment. I'm beyond thrilled to say that everything exceeded my expectations. Everything was delicious. I finally found a Chinese food restaurant that did not disappoint. I no longer have to travel to Menomonee Falls for great Chinese food. This restaurant is just as good and honestly maybe a smidge better. I will definitely be back to try other menu items. I definitely recommend it. Great Food"

"Egg roll house's food been a part of our family get togethers for decades. The owner is very kind, and she always remembered what my parents liked to eat whenever they came in for take out, no matter how long it had been. My mom and I were very happy to see that the restaurant was reopened despite being closed for so long due to a fire and subsequent issues with their rebuild. And even after years of being gone the owner actually remembered a conversation she had with my mom probably 10 years earlier when I'd come all the way from Guam to visit my parents. The food is always good. Prices are average. I'd say they're fair for the portion sizes. Best egg rolls I've had anywhere I've lived. Decor is understandably modest compared to the old space, but I hope that they continue to thrive and regrow."

"The pot stickers were too thick and less than a teaspoon of filling. I thought they would be steamed but they were over fried. The egg foo Yung was bland with only salad shrimp that had the poop track still inside as the picture shows. Was very disappointed especially still they remodeled."
