"This location will not honor a military discount. The vast majority of ACE hardware stores do give a military discount (with proper ID), however this location offers no discount for serving your country. Very odd since Home Depot and Lowes honors the military everyday with 10% off discount. This location would get all of my business (which is a lot!!) If they honored the 3% of the brave men & women that serve their country with military service. Unfortunately the owner of this location decided that military service deserves nothing."

"Mediocre selection of plumbing and electrical parts and the "lumber yard" is sad. They do have a full selection of self-serve fasteners which is awesome. The boutique section of the store has grown over the last ten years to almost half the store(Artsy housewares and gift ideas) I wish it were just a hardware store. Edit: I visited the store tonight for a roll of duct tape but I noticed the parking lot was full. When I went inside, people were eating pastries and walking around with cups. This has gone from a hardware store to some kind of middle-aged white woman social club. I really wish there was something better on this side of town. Ace has more kitchenware than it does hardware."
"I normally patronize local businesses instead of going to a national chain or big box store. However, my last visit to Kortendicks was bizarre. I witnessed an employee berate another employee in from of customers and then another employee stated to me “He didn’t care” when I tried to explain I had brought in my propane tank less than 3 months earlier to get filled. Apparently my tank expired. Me thinks they had a bad day OR their attitudes and customer service needs to improve."
"I relocated to Caledonia in 2017 and really didn't stop here often since I lived in a apartment until March of 2020 when I bought a home near 3 Mile Road. Now, this truly is my go-to place for various household items. They have not let me down for the various projects I have tackled over the months. The other real bonus is the knowledgeable staff for your task. This establishment never let's me down. UPDATE-Did.u know Ace will REFILL your grill propane tank for almost 1/2 the cost of a empty tank swap ? These days...saving pesos count !"
