"I’d never visited Milwaukee, WI, and I was pleasantly surprised to discover a wonderful, diverse, thriving community, particularly near this Panera Bread. A great PB, as all the locations that I have visited across the country have been, thus far! Milwaukee is a relatively large city and has much of the challenges of most urban communities. However, there’s a lot of flat neighborhoods, without skyscrapers. It felt like my home town back in the 60’s and 70’s, with a kind of small town feeling. Modest frame houses on small lots. Quiet, neat, clean, well cared for homes and properties. There’s a Porsche dealership up the block from Panera. That means there’s enough well heeled, well to do people to justify building a dealership there."
"This Panera never disappoints. I had a taste for their French Onion soup with cheese, croutons and everything was delicious. Of course, they gave me a piece of the softest French bread ever. The young lady with the head wrap took my order and was extremely pleasant and kind. She made my experience exceptional. Every time I step foot in this establishment, I leave very satisfied. Keep up the great work . . ."
"I hate giving the 2 stars but let me explain. I really wanted to give 1 star but the food saved that idea. Panera is extremely overrated. It’s ridiculously expensive- $35 for 2 salads and a soup. I got go to a legitimate sit-down, waiter restaurant and pay less. The service was terrible- I had 2 gift cards to use and one had “expired”. Excuse me, I didn’t realize gift cards could expire. We ordered 2 Southwest Caesar salads with chicken and they informed us they didn’t have avocado. Well, I asked if we could substitute something for that. She listed some items and I said edamame, thinking it was a substitute in place of them not having an ingredient— nope, she charged me for that!!! Unbelievable. Will not be back- probably to any Panera Breads in the near future or just never."
"I like Panera and have been coming to this location for years. Spacious, clean and plenty of seating. Menu is broad and there is kiosk ordering or online. My favorite is the full apple chicken salad, which I really enjoyed with my side of Baguette. Plenty of coffee to choose from and selection of cold drinks as well. Enjoy!"
"Will it suffice? Sure. Stopped in on a relatively dead Tuesday night with the excitement of trying a new sandwich I've never had before. Steak and cheese without the onion. You can decide how much energy, care or effort go into making a sandwich of this caliber. Let's be very clear, I typically enjoy Panera and what they have to offer but this is just depressing. Floors and tables were almost all dirty. One of the front workers was cleaning racks and getting them ready for the next day and you would think she was getting a bonus for the volume which she could toss those metal racks around. Warm, cozy, inviting, clean, or tolerable dinning room volumes? Big fat no to all of those. By the way - you'll likely go right past it as half the outside lights are not functional. Good luck spotting the restaurant."
