Coney Island Hotdog Station

"Walked in with mom to get food and sat at register for like 6 mins with no one helping us or taking our order for food until we finally said something. After finally getting helped, the older lady that was making our food looks disgusting, needs to shower. No hair net on and very rude to customers. Watched her tell another lady it's that easy to just order it at the register and told another person they can't sit here because it's for customers but however they were a customer. This lady looked like a Homeless person to be honest and when I asked her name to be able to complain about her she told me I'm not giving that to you. Very poor customer service and not the first time having a problem with this person. Honestly I'm so disgusted of her hygiene that I didn't even really eat the food and to top it all off food was cold. Will not be coming back. Not a good look when you don't take care of your own hygiene and work with food. Have had times in past where I said something because she made my food with no gloves. She's disgusting and shouldn't be working in food business. I love this place but won't be back until she is taken care of or gone."

"I am so glad one of these restaurants still exists in la crosse! I grew up on Coney Island hot dogs and haven't had them since before covid. It is absolutely soul food. The staff are very friendly and they cook everything fresh and fast. It's definitely a go-to spot that I will forever be a customer if"

"This place wasn’t we thought it was gunna be.. hotdogs are to small, the chilli was cold and not fresh. The staff there didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. Really poor maintained restaurant. Will never go there again."

"The older woman, whom I assume to be the manager, is the most disrespectful and rude employee I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. After witnessing her yell at the customer in front of us because she insisted his order was correct but wasn't, I should have left immediately. After having our order taken for 5 minutes due to a new employee we went and waited for our food, which ended up not including cheese. After informing the woman working there, she told us it was in fact our fault that we didn't notice when the employee ringing us up repeated our order. The employee was brand new, still training, and never said a word about our order. We told her this and she insisted we had to go pay for the additional cheese, until one of the other employees that was clearly embarrassed gave us the cheese for free and told his boss he would pay for it. We spent the next 5 minutes listening to the manager badmouth her employee that gave us cheese tell him that he shouldn't do that, "they didn't pay for cheese, it's not free". To the gentleman that bought us cheese that we ordered to begin with, I'm so sorry that you have to deal with such a terrible example of customer service and management. Just take a look around before you eat and you'll get a clear idea of the way this woman runs this Coney Island. No wonder they can't stay open with managers like her, AVOID AT ALL COSTS"
