Fiesta Mexicana

"We stopped in tonight with our four and two year old after seeing the rotary lights. The restaurant was very clean and had a really welcoming atmosphere with a warm sitting area and well painted walls and murals. The waitress we had was extremely attentive and fast and checked on us multiple times. The pork empanada was ridiculously delicious. They were so courteous and kind even with our kids, and to our utmost surprise, brought out fried ice cream for us at the end of our meal! Our kids were so surprised and delighted! We never said a word about it, but they both have had birthdays in the past week and the other in the following week, it was like they knew! I highly recommend this restaurant!"

"It's authentic for North, but if you're from South Texas, it's not. Disappointed in some of the food. Fajita means beef steak, but they didn't understand. In South Texas, every Mexican restaurant use the word Fajita for beef. One of the dishes I got was called Menudo. I was quite disappointed. There was no corn in it and not much garnishing of cilantros and onions. It was too greasy and fatty. It doesn't taste authentic, so if you're looking for authentic, this isn't the place. Also, I couldn't even understand the server. She talks too quiet and slurs her words. Overall, it was a disappointment."

"I had the arroz and pollo. It was the worst Mexican food I’ve ever had. Served with warmed store bought tortillas and somehow even their tortilla chips were awful. There was peas in the rice and the red sauce tasted like watered down tomato soup, absolutely zero seasoning and the chicken was either boiled or microwaved and the mushrooms looked like they came out of a can. Regardless there was no flavor and nothing that I would recommend. I wouldn’t be surprised if my lunch was microwaved. Awful. Couldn’t eat it."

"So I was in La Crosse for a family member's funeral. I met up with one of my best friends for dinner. I hadn't seen her in a couple of years. So we went to Fiesta Mexicana for dinner. One of my favorite places to eat. I haven't eaten there for maybe 10 years. I am not sure. Anyways we ate there. And the food was delicious and came out in good timing. The staff were attentive and I love that. When I got back for a visit. I definitely have to go back there or takeout. And I forgot to take pictures of our meals. Sorry about that."
