"Paid a lot of money (more than a new living room set) for all leather reupholstery of the living room set I inherited from my mother, for sentimental reasons. Looked fine when new, but as it ages it’s becoming obvious that the back, sides and piping (at least) are vinyl. This was not a misunderstanding, as he specifically justified the high price by quoting the price and quantity of the leather. I feel cheated."
