About the Business
America Thrift Store is a charitable institution located at 4509 Franklin Boulevard in Sacramento, California. We make donating easy by offering free home pickups for those with more than two bags of donations in good condition. By donating to America's Thrift Stores, you are helping to support our six charity partners who work to improve the lives of children with critical illnesses and those affected by addiction. We accept gently-used clothing, toys, furniture, household goods, and more. You can also drop off donations at our store location. Our charity partners include Make-A-Wish Alabama, Children's Healthcare of Atlanta, Home of Grace, Adult & Teen Challenge Mid-South, Make-A-Wish Middle Tennessee, and Louisiana Adult & Teen Challenge.

"This is a weird place, they have some cool stuff, but when I was there I didn’t see anyone there at worked there, only two German Shepherds and a big chicken. Also, I will second that there is a urine smell inside the place. I wanted to ask the price on something, but there was no one to ask! Not sure how you can run a business that way."
"Great place!! The owner is very nice guy with a fantastic eye for outdoor yard art/furniture and has some beautiful plants he raises and sells-all at what we thought we very reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back! We read the negative reviews and can't speak to appliances, but if I ever went to an antique mall of sorts without expecting some dust, I'd probably question the legitimacy. I loved it all. So many wonderfully tempting metal/garden pieces. Definitely worth a visit if you're looking for some gems that might need a little elbow grease."
