"My son went to Escobar Family Day Care for about 6 months and we were really happy. We love Ms. Amalia and her style. Whenever I was there the kids were happy and well behaved. I can tell Amalia really loves and cares for my son. He had a very hard time with separation anxiety so I would often stand by the closed door after dropping him off and could head Amalia talking lovingly to him and calming him down by distracting him with snacks or toys. She feeds the kids healthy food and lots of fruit. Amalia is a no-nonsense kind of person and takes good care of the little ones!"

"Terrible experience. I would avoid Escobar Family Day Care in Ventura at all costs. It is bad all around: the owner Amalia Escobar is rude and very loud, the home is dirty and hectic, basic hygiene is lacking, and the kids here cry constantly with limited supervision. Awful place. Find a day care where they actually care about your kids and don't verbally abuse them. Stay far away unless you want a stressful experience and a strong headache."
