"My mom had low platelets that requires hospitalized for blood transfusion. Checked in at 11:30 am waited until 3 am the NEXT DAY for doctor to call then waited until 7pm for them to actually give her blood transfusion. Thought we were unlucky that day. NO, came everyweek with the same condition low platelets, always waited at least 12 hours after checking in for them to at least do something. What is the point of the emergency room when patients who are in chronic condition need medical attention immediately waited more than half day with no bed, no IV, nothing besides taking vitals every 2 hours?"
"went in last night for an intimate problem. after first male doctor exam me, he leaves. a nurse was getting pain meds ready, then a second doctor (i think) comes skipping up and ask him if i have already been seen. the nurse tells her yes as he walks in closing the curtain. on the other side of the curtain . the female (doctor i think was looking between the curtain and wall )and gave me a kinky smile, then left. the female staff there are unprofessional towards men's dignity, privacy, and respect. my advice is men watch out for dignity , privacy and respect. if you have to have an intimate exam done and they need a "chaperone" and you dont feel comfortable , ask for a male. dont let them just force a female upon you, stand up for your privacy, dignity and respect. start reporting any female unprofessionalism , that goes for nurse or doctors too. then report it to your insurance, make them start being accountable for their actions. they tried to force a female chaperone on me, i ended up refusing the exam. i have had multiple ultrasounds without a chaperone (and the ultrasound tech was a female) and now i had to have a chaperone. NO!!!. i had to leave the hospital and go to a different one. ended up getting better care there. males, if you have to go in for an intimate problem, and are embarrassed to talk to a female nurse , ask for a male nurse. its easier to talk to a male nurse because we have the same parts. if female patients get same gender care, then we need to stand standing up for our RIGHTS, for PRIVACY, DIGNITY AND RESPECT. start take charge of your health, dont wait until its too late."
"Brought our son in for a psych evaluation at 1:30 pm, it is now after 11pm and after we were allowed to sit in the back hallway, got kicked back out to an overcrowded lobby so they can see more patients when they haven't taken care of the ones already here. He has missed both of his afternoon and evening medications because they won't let us give them to him. A child already suffering a mental health emergency, deprived of their medication and basically forced to stay awake is beyond ridiculous and cruel. All of the nurses are absolutely clueless as well as the people up front. Guarantee it's going to take the doctor 15 minutes or less to get the information he needs. Oh....and currently staring at 6 people sitting around doing absolutely nothing, on their cell phones when all the trash cans are overflowing, no paper towels in the bathroom, snot rags and trash all over the lobby. What are you guys doing?! This place needs a major overhaul or just shut down."
"My sister has cancer the day in particular she went to emergency . She had a seizure & not 1 medical staff member came to her aide. Zero, nil, ! I know there is a overwhelming shortage of medical staff but where was the empathy & professionalism? I will say people need to go to urgent care for non life threatening medical needs, if you aren't bleeding go to urgent care. If you have internal pain & is gas go to urgent care.. if you need a hug go to urgent care"
"My mother is an active cancer patient here with Loma Linda. Today she was very sick and was having severe withdrawals due to pharmacies not having her medication available for her (makes zero sense) the ambulance brought her in at 1pm, it is now 1am. No doctors have came in to speak with us. No one to let us know what’s happening. Just a nurse, helping with “pain management “. While she suffers. And we sit and watch. This is so sad. And truly letting us know how unimportant she is here to the loma Linda cancer center. Where are all the doctors at on a Monday? Can’t we get any help? This will be the third time my mother was discharged from the actual hospital without finishing out her care. Lawsuits are coming next. I don’t feel we are heard. And I’m ready to find a cancer advocate. Clearly we are not seen."
