"The mare bit me! Living just down the street, I walked over and gave her an apple. She chomped it down. I then turn away and looked down the street at something and when my back was to her she bit me, bit me hard! On the shoulder! If you never been bitten by a horse look at those teeth and tell yourself not to let that happen! I hold no grudge. She probably just wanted another apple and there’s only so many ways a horse can ask."
