"This is really a fun campground. If you touring through the different Thousand Trails campgrounds in California don't forget to stay here for a few days. It's virtually silent after 10PM at this campground. No traffic, no airplanes--nothing but wind blowing through pines. There are some full hookup sites but a majority are water/electric only. The staff is fantastic. Starting with the gentleman at the gate to the various staff members I ran into on the grounds, everyone was great. Internet/cell service with T-Mobile was fantastic."

"Thousand trails Idyllwild was beautiful. The drive up was a little getting used to. But well worth it. Very clean, well taken care of. Plenty of restrooms, showers and washrooms throughout the campground. Trails were nice, staff is friendly. I was bummed that the lake was dried up but overall, very peaceful. Everyone was pretty respectful. Definitely coming back."

"The campsites are pretty small but it’s beautiful and there are many amenities. They didn’t tell us to leave due to the storm but it felt heavily suggested. At this point a refund for one of the days would’ve been a great way to have us come back as these reservations aren’t cheap and they had us relocate our site (again because of the storm) after setting everything up. They apologized but continued to encourage us not to stay. Only stayed for one day."

"Amazing time here the cabin was super clean felt really fresh and definitely got the feeling of getting away. There has been a lot of things done here from the last time I stayed. The workers are kind friendly and like to work . Seeing the 2 maintenance. Guys doing a lot make us as members feel good . The restrooms are clean and fresh showers as well . The rangers are extremely helpful just want to say thank you for a great time here my kids and family had a wonderful experience"
