"In my past, I dedicated a substantial amount of time, particularly during my 30s and 40s, to visiting bookstores. These visits often resulted in the acquisition of one or more books. However, the advent of Amazon has had a detrimental impact on the livelihoods of numerous bookstores. In particular, I feel a sense of nostalgia for Borders. "This is probably one of the most consistently clean and organized bookstores that I have ever visited. Over the years with different changes in management it has always stayed so easy to find the book that I'm looking for. The staff during my visit today were very friendly and super helpful when I was looking for a vague idea of a book to give as a gift for a friend who has a very different interests than I do. LOL. If you're looking for the best Barnes and Noble in Sac, this is it."
"Nice store with a good selection. It’s unfortunate that the dude working tonight with long black hair and glasses was so rude. I was making a big purchase to build a play therapy kit. Dude tried to pressure me into signing up for the rewards program. When I passed he straight up raised his eyebrow at me and said “Alright.” in the most judgmental tone. Seems like a little thing, but I’ve had a rough day and that tiny interaction made it much worse. I really hope someone in management sees this and knows who I’m talking about so they can get that dude better training."
