"Unkempt and not well-maintained. It was a rainy weekend that we were there. Major picks and mud everywhere. Electrical boxes standing in 6" deep lakes of water and submerged sewer connections. Nasty place."

"We had the most wonderful time! We were on our way south, stopped here for a week and met up with my sister and her significant other, whom we had not had a chance to visit with in a long time, along with my son. The staff was great, we got there ahead and parked backwards so we could be door to door. Showers were great, could have used another dump station open. Fished in a Float-tube and canoed in an origami canoe. When we arrived I discovered that someone had liberated one of my front wheel covers. Gwendolyn was fantastic helping me with delivery of a replacement. I can't say enough about how great this place is! Oh yeah, Sammie's was a great place for lunch, overlooking the lake."

"We have been Thousand Trails members for 20+ years, always in our class A motorhome. This week, we stayed in a Getaway cabin for the first time. It's been part of our member benefits, but we never used it. We had a great stay! Clean, comfortable, great view of the lake from our deck. Would recommend to anyone, especially for a long weekend or week's vacation."
