"Rio Linda-Elverta recreation and park are awesome place & really awesome staffs. I’ve been going there for sometime & spoke to someone in the front office about a bike rack so I can park my bike close to the office. I only mentioned in passing a need for a place to secure my bike then shortly afterwards they installed a bike rack."

"The park itself is great. The creek is so nice to play/swim in . Lots of dog owners. 95% of them had their dogs on leashes. Except for these 2 people.. Who let their dogs attack my dog and sat there and watched.. No leashes for the Pit or the German Shepard. The woman stated that my dog started it. I disrespected the people in the park by bringing my LEASHED dog to the park. My dog was injured and had to go to the vet. The reason I am sharing this, is because the Sheriff told me to carry Mace and if something like this happens again spray the dog. So, if you are thinking about bringing your dog(s) to this park you might want to carry Mace or pepper spray. It won't hurt them."

"Very nice park, big playground, tennis court, basketball place, picnic place, beautiful nature around, and near we see cow, my kids were excited!!!"

"A nice park with tennis court. Never too crowded or messy. Good parking. The bike trial goes right by it and I love the oak trees that form a tunnel before it comes out to Elkhorn."
