"This company came in and cut a chunk of my kitchen floor out, before our insurance company told them to do anything. And they refuse to pay for it. Also the first man that came didn't have all his contracts for me to sign. I do not recommend them for anything!;"
"Would rate 0 stars if I could. Working (or lack thereof) with Rytech has been a nightmare. State Farm sent them out through Alacrity because I needed an estimate for water damage after a thunderstorm. BIG mistake. The staff who came out were initially fine, but the problems started after: - The staff who came to do an estimate for me ghosted me. Nothing was ever sent to my insurance. I called several times and got no response, and ended up contracting with a different company to do my repairs and create a supplemental estimate for my claim. - Apparently my insurance was billed for... something. I'm not entirely sure what since I never saw a bill, and the techs who came out did nothing in my home except inspect the water damage for an estimate that was never created or sent. The only hide nor hair I've seen of this was a payment to Rytech from State Farm that was sent to me instead of Rytech, didn't arrive in my mailbox until this week despite being postmarked a month ago, and was subsequently canceled and re-issued by State Farm after receipt of a late balance notice that ALSO arrive in my mail last night. I was not notified this payment was issued. I have not seen a bill. I was not made aware of this balance, and if anything was sent to me regarding it, it never arrived. No one has reached out to me to rectify whatever is happening here. Every time I've tried to call anyone I've spoken with at Rytech, I end up straight at to voicemail and never get a call back. It's extremely unprofessional and terrible customer service."
"They showed up on time and did a great job removing my damaged floors. And put the fans out and came back to check that our floors were drying. Very professional and polite. Great work ethic. Thank you Rytech! Dottie"
"Rytech has been extremely professional, thorough and responsive with any questions or issues. Michael, Nate and Zach have all been to my house and all of them were 5 star. I have texted with them as well when I had a question and they responded nearly immediately. It feels good to be kept in the loop have any questions I have answered immediately. I wouldn't recommend anyone else."
"We had a storage closet leaked and cause water damage to dry wall and wood floor. The guy initially quoted us 1 day of work. It turned into a full day and two additional half days. They did an uneven job cutting out the drywall and did a several cuts into the drywall but did not remove that said drywall so now there are just random cuts in good drywall. I personally could have cut this drywall out better and prepare it for the reinstall better than this. The flooring had some sort of adhesive under it making it really hard to get the wood up which I did feel bad about but I was paying them good money to remove it. So they left many many pieces of wood and splinters throughout the area. They also left the adhesive in place which they even said “don’t walk barefoot on that” I explained I have two dogs that roam to the manager and the adhesive will need to come up. We were told that was the flooring people’s job. So now I have sat here waiting for the flooring contractors having to cover the area in rugs so my dogs could roam safely without sticking or being stabbed by wood. My fiancé and I were able to get the wood and adhesive up by pouring Sentinel 747 and scraping it up. During this process was when we really realize how poorly of a job they did, there was pieces of wood severely jammed under the door frames and baseboards that they did not remove. I paid over two grand for a small area of work and left having to spend 300$ in material and equipment and my time to finish the job I already paid for. Not to mention, I was hounded for final payment for a month after I did pay. I had to hunt down where the payments cleared and where I had emailed other people about it and sending screenshots. Very poor communication within the company. Very sad with our experience considering how well it started with the manager coming out same day to give estimate. I hope others have a better experience than I did. I attached the floor from how they left it to how it looked after we finished the job ourselves."
