"Any idiot can work there. They are pretentious, although they pretend to be down to earth they’re just a step below Whole Foods and forget that they’re a grocery store! They should customers better and those that apply for jobs better my friend applied there and they never hired him and was interviewed by two people. It was very awkward for him. He told me I hear they treat their employees really well. Maybe that swear their sense of entitlement comes from but as far as cheap edible food is little budget grocery store. I give this specific Trader Joe’s a two out of five. It must be the management. Store doesn’t seem overly clean to me. I have seen better Trader Joe’s in different states with better management cleaner stores, and I’m not slimming all of the employees at Novato’s Trader Joe’s this one is the worst I’ve ever been in and considering my friends experience trying to get a job there and he was very well educated and had experience working at a grocery store. They told him they would call him back in a few days my friend had to call them back and ask what was up. Finally manager, got on the phone and said that my friend didn’t get the job, not cool! irregardless is their loss. My friend is my best friend and is an extremely hard worker and works well in teams and wouldn’t have that attitude that the others have. Maybe that’s the problem."

"It's not as crazy busy as other TJs in Marin. Lots of parking and friendly staff."
