"TL;DR. I came here for a boot fitting & was very impressed. You will be, too. I have "difficult" feet. I was sent here from another location to have Paul do a boot fitting for me. I've seen other reviews singing his praises and lemme tell you: PAUL LIVES UP TO THE HYPE. Paul did not set false expectations, he did exactly what he said he was going to do. Paul spent the first several minutes just asking me questions, checking my range of motion, & measuring different spots on my terrible feet. He brought out a set of boots that were almost perfect for me, but let me try others that I was interested in.... at least until I tried them on. He listened to my concerns, and came out with another set of boots that were even almost perfect-er. After he had done some simple modifications, I was incredibly comfortable. This was not a quick process. I tried on several boots and stood in them for quite some time to make sure that nothing popped up over time. It takes just under an hour to get out there from my place. If you have concerns about boot fitting, then make the time to see Paul. This will be worth the time investment."

"I love shopping at this Sports Basement location. I always find the items I need! I shop here for camping necessities, swim/beach gear, snow/ski gear, and on my last trip I purchased football cleats for my kids. The prices are great. It always feels like the items I need are on sale every time I shop. I use to shop at Dick’s but they almost never had the items I needed in stock so I’d be told to try shopping online. It was always very frustrating because the closest Dick’s is up in Petaluma and I hate wasting a trip up there. With Sports Basement, I get what I need in store, when I need it, AND at a bargain price. I just bought three pairs of cleats for my kids each coming out to less than $35 a pair. I don’t ever remember a deal like that at any other sporting goods store I’ve shopped in the past. Another reason I prefer shopping here is the staff. They are always super friendly as if they are genuinely having a good day. Other places have staff members who clearly don’t want to be there or are only doing the bare minimum. Bad vibes make bad shopping experiences. Sports Basement 10/10 would recommend."

"I went here for a ski boot fitting. An employee named Paul helped me out he was incredibly knowledgeable and made the process which was kind of overwhelming at first really easy and straightforward. He just had so much experience with it and knew the products like the back of his hand. Incredible employee super nice guy and made the whole experience great"

"It's near impossible to find an associate to help you. I wasn't the only customer looking for employees. When I did find somebody at the bicycle counter in the back of the store he just pointed and said "walk to the other corner of the store and you'll see it before you get there, it's somewhere over there". He was no help. Eventually I spoke very loudly and said can I get some help please. Still no response. I had to continue wandering around all the aisles looking for what I needed. When I finally found what I was looking for, the selection was non-existent. The only size is left were double extra large. 70% of the pegs on an accessory rack were empty. I've had a decent experience there before, but most of the people just don't care about the customer. Honestly, I've seen better stock shelves at a Dollar tree."
