"Really like the basketball court here aside from a little rough the hoops are good with nets on them , tennis courts. Soccer fields , restrooms make it a plus"
"Nice park, two playing baseball park, and three tennis courts. And children park. And Restrooms."
"Memories if this park for me dates back to 1969 when I was 4 years old..yeah I have a very good memory. We live a quarter block away and walked here everyday after school from St. Peters.. still love park and nice diamond field for baseball and softball."
"Super cool, tennis, basketball courts, diamond baseball, lots of family and children, dog friendly, beautiful wide park!!"
"This is a generally bad area to bring your kids. I've lived near this park for 12 years and I can say that it has slowly but surely deteriorated. Their are always drunkards loitering the park benches, harassing random people for no reason other than being drunk, inconsiderate jerks. The playground is usually occupied by teenagers smoking weed. A lot of homeless people also loiter about(not that there is anything wrong with them being homeless, it's just their behavior towards the park); harassing random persons. The issue with them is that they hog the public bathrooms, usually stinking them up, clogging the toilets, vandalizing the bathroom walls and overall just leaving them looking damaged beyond repair. It got so bad that their is bathroom security now to prevent fights or drug use or whatever the hell these people do in there. I personally do not feel safe playing basketball in the courts anymore. I've almost been assaulted multiple times by the same crazy junkie looking to "play" with someone. This person is out of control. She lashes out at people physically with little to no provocation. She throws random tantrums out of complete nowhere, and to top it all off, she uses racial slurs like it is just regular, every day talk. I do not recommend this park at all. There need to be changes like park security and maintenance in the bathrooms, those places are filthy! The most glaring problem that this park is not addressing is the after school programs! No one wants their children playing around in a place like this, It brings a huge lingering sense of danger. I have found dirty needles, condoms, sharp objects like scissors and even human fecal matter just laying down in the basketball courts. These things are hazardous to anyone's health, let alone YOUR children. Keep your kids away from this park!"
