"My child has been a dancer with Ms. Laura and the teachers at San Francisco Dance Space for 12 years. She has grown from casually interested in dancing because a friend was doing it to intensely passionate about dance. Recently we had to put a limit to the number of days she could take classes here otherwise she would be there everyday. She loves it so much. She has had nothing but a positive experience here with every instructor she has worked with. The owner, Ms. Laura, pushes her students to work hard but is also extremely caring and compassionate with all of her students. She is an excellent teacher and seems to have a personal connection with each and every student to bring out their best. The end of year performance is extremely well orchestand obviously a labor of love for the staff and the students. If your child wants to push themselves and expand their practice beyond only SF Dance Space she is there for them. She is extremely helpful and knowledgeable about programs throughout the city as well as summer intensive programs etc. SF Dance Space has been and all around great experience for our family, I couldn’t recommend it any higher. During the Covid shutdown the studio staff was able to pivot pretty quickly and transition instruction online so students could have access and some consistency during these stressful times."
