The Wash House

"We have been going to the The Wash House- Madison for about a month now. I love how clean and affordable prices. I had the pleasure of meeting Velma and Cassidy who works here. They both are very help and are able to assist me when I have questions. I like the fact I am able to get in and out in 1 hour with my family. The only I can recommend for the owner of the facility is to leave all front loader washing machine doors open at all times. This will help them dry out faster vs the door being shut locking in moisture and an odor. The smell does not get on my clothes at all but I do know them from personally having a frontloader for 12 years. I highly recommend this laundromat to anyone looking for clean, nice , and affordable laundromat facility."

"The place is fairly clean but the customers are awful. People often pile their stuff in front of the machine you’re using and will not move it even while you’re trying to unload. Then they start loading their stuff into the machine almost before you’re done unloading. I don’t think the driers lock, so you do have to guard your load the whole freaking time, because I’ve come back during the middle of a load to find someone had removed my clothes and had put theirs in!! I give it 4 stars for the facilities but the people are very frustrating. I would not recommend this place because of the customers."

"The second I parked and got out of my car I got a very unpleasant look from the Hispanic lady that works there, I read a review saying she’s racist and I’m assuming it was about her. I put my clothes in the dryer and yet they were still very damp. I only came here because my laundry room at my apartment complex is out of order right now. But I know I’m never coming back here again. Edit: It was small assumption that it was her. Just because you have a zero tolerance policy for something doesn’t mean that all your employees will follow it. Also, it sounds like your saying that it could have been any one of your employees that gave me an unfriendly look and that’s awful. Whatever the case is, if you see a customer be it a regular or not the least you could do is smile and make them feel welcomed. I have nothing to gain out of taking a shot at your laundromat. I’ve lived in this country long enough to be able to read body language and I know what I saw. P.S. google reviews don’t really mean much, if anything. They can easily be faked. The fact that your using them to prove your laundromat is one of the bests is a red flag. Best of luck to you, I will not return."

"Sadly my washing machine overflowed back in June causing my kitchen ceiling to fall through. That said, I have been without a washing machine for quite some time. The Wash House stands out over other laundromats in ‘spades’. They have plenty of machines to self use or drop off services, which is what I do. Reasonable prices, friendly staff, with a clean & safe atmosphere for all to use. Highly recommended and will definitely repeat until I get new machines for at-home use."

"The late night employee is absolutely the nicest man. So very helpful and funny to boot. I would absolutely go and wash my clothes there any time. Dryers work wonders and haven't had a machine mess up on me once. Takes card and coin there too soooo convenient. Go there you won't regret it..... Went back and still just as good."
