I have also bought new shirts, jackets & patio furniture at thrift store prices. Their natural competition is Trader Joe's and Safeway, not Winco or Costco. Apart from the beer & wine selection which is justly famous for variety & value, the store is full of treasures, imports, and absolute gems.
