"Apparently customer service is only open a few select hours. If you need something done and the lady is at lunch the cashiers up front will tell you there’s absolutely no one else who can help you. Kinda misleading since lunch hours aren’t posted. The grocery prices have skyrocketed and the team couldn’t care less about assisting people who actually NEED assistance. Would give zero stars if I could. This place was great when my dad was in upper management now they have really gone down hill. And I find it hard to believe that there’s NO one else in the store who can be of assistance at customer service. Poor job guys will not continue to shop here."

"Lost my business. Frozen salads and the deli has just gotten awful. Completely ignored by employee Puting food out had a grumpy look on her face. I'm over this Safeway just go across town to the other Safeway for a better experience."

"I shopped at Safeway on Pine Street using my EBT card and it was skimmed someone in Chicago. Illinois took all of my EBT funds and I was left without money for the entire month for my family. When I contacted Safeway they spent very little time listening to me, and seem to not care almost as if it happens so often they are Callous to the fact that it took a families food money for the month. I’m very disappointed in you Safeway your lack of caring your lack of asking me questions and engaging in my conversation. Left me to believe that you just do not care you have customers who are being stolen from your credit card machines are being skimmed , and you did not engage and did not ask any questioning or investigation to find out when where and how shame on you how dare you allow your customers to be stolen from and spend no understanding how it happens shame on you"

"The security guard is a piece of work. It's raining on 1.27.24. We had a pick-up order. We parked by the entrance so the Safeway workers wouldn't have to come out in the rain with our order. He made us all move. He was extremely rude and arrogant and on a power trip. He said "I don't care" when I said we parked here for the workers to not have to be in the rain. Also, the park and go sign was literally pointed to the spot we were parked in. If we weren't supposed to be there why was the sign like that? I think he is bored and exerting unnecessary authority over others was entertaining for him. Or maybe he thought we were waiting for someone to steal things and drive off? I am not sure. I just do not think it was handled appropriately. That aside, I frequent this Safeway for pick up orders, and the staff are always extremely kind."

"I Enjoy shopping at the Pine St location!! Produce is fresh, meats are well stocked (due to high prices for most everything now days) I suggest they package the fresh hamburger in one and half to two pound packages at mbr prices, just for a week or two. Still a big money maker, don't advertise this special package deal. So many families need to get "caught up" this time of year! Not every household can afford $22.56 to $27/$28.00 for 3.08lbs of beef at a time. Smaller portions at a reasonable price could be manageable for most. Think it over!"
