"My experience at United Gas on 12/14/2023 at approx 3pm, was truly disappointing and discriminatory. As a deaf person, I rely on written communication, and this gas station failed me miserably. After my card wouldn't work at the pump, I went inside to pay for gas. I showed the cashier a note on my phone clearly stating my request. Instead of offering any assistance or trying to understand my needs, he simply dismissed me with a wave of his hand and a "no." This blatant refusal to serve me, without any attempt at communication, left me feeling humiliated and excluded. Being deaf is not a barrier to purchasing gas. This employee's lack of basic understanding and empathy is unacceptable. I urge United Gas to train its staff on disability sensitivity and ensure that all customers are treated with respect and dignity, regardless of their communication needs. In addition to posting this review online, I will be filing a complaint with the Disability Action Center and the Better Business Bureau. This incident deserves attention and action to prevent similar discrimination from happening to others."
"I have been filling up my car there for 3 years and never had a problem with staff or product. As a handicapped person I appreciate the employee (owner) filling my car up for me most of the time. Depends upon how busy they are at the time I pull into the station."
