"What a truly horrendous experience we had with The Floor Store, San Rafael. If I were to detail all that went wrong, this review would go on for pages. So, I'll try to briefly summarize in the hopes that I can save someone else the misery of dealing with them. A project that was supposed to be completed in 4-5 days took 3 months. It took 2 months just for them to send out someone to put the appliances back where they were supposed to be. Despite numerous mistakes made on the part of the salesperson in ordering materials, etc., no one ever took responsibility and/or apologized. Instead, we were lied to over and over. When the local store was unresponsive, I contacted the corporate office (by phone and on line) but no one ever responded there either. There is awful communication between the sales people and the installers, leading to many problems and misinformation. Over the course of 3 months we met several different installers. Some were professional, honest and truly cared about doing quality work. Several of them treated us, and our home, with utter disrespect. I would not recommend this store to anyone."
