"Had an excellent experience with Made Lumber. When I came in to look they had a nice selection of slabs and were way more reasonably priced than a lot of other places I’d checked. In particular, they had some beautiful walnut slabs. I wanted to create a coffee table, and I found the perfect slab, a figured maple. Nate offered to finish it for me, which was perfect since I wouldn’t have done it justice myself. He also talked me out of staining it, which was absolutely the right call. Honestly, looking at it now I can’t believe I ever considered it. It came out so beautiful, I can’t help but to keep staring at it. It’s gorgeous, like a work of art. The pictures really do not do it justice. It’s going to look amazing in my new living room. I could not be happier with my experience and the finished product. Highly recommend Made Lumber!"

"If you lead a good life, and love woodworking, then one day, you get admitted to Wood Heaven. Until that day, you can spend your time in Made Lumber. This could NOT have been a better experience. I've been woodworking since I was old enough to hold a handsaw, and I've belonged to just about every Guild and Club, and have been to wood suppliers from coast to coast, North, South, East and West. No place beats this place for live edge. It's the type of place where you wish you had the time, room, space, and project list, to take home just about every piece in the space. And John - great guy. That makes life simple - I simply have to knock off the bark, give it a quick once-over with the random orbital, and slap on some Odie's Oil - and voila, instant coffee table. I plan to return, to take some slabs back to my shop in Maryland, to make things for friends and family. This is a real find. Beautiful stuff. More than five stars."
