"The place was not as advertised and very expensive for what we paid. I gave them a good review on VRBO to help with their business as I'm a business owner myself. However, the accusation of damaging their property with something as stupid as an outdoor plant that anyone could have stolen in that sketchy neighborhood tipped the scales for me. Very sketchy neighborhood. Lots of holes in chairs, beds that are very old and creak as well as issue with temperature in the house. The house was freezing the day we arrived and the thermostat would not work to increase the temperature. When we went to check out, the alarm would not turn off causing a delay in our departure and we were charged for a "Missing plant and a broken blind" when we didn't even use the blinds during our trip or touch the plants. So our damage deposit wasn't fully refunded. We also paid a pet fee which cost us more than the average customer coming in anyway. They booked this place to numerous people before and after our stay so how are they supposed to know it was us (also the owner never sent us pictures of this so called "broken blind"). Very unprofessional."

"The owners are not trustworthy They posted a false review about my son stating he had an unregistered dog staying with him without even contacting him to confirm. My son doesn't own a dog. When he contacted them to explain this, they wouldn't even listen to him. Furthermore, he couldn't even respond to this review in order to clear their accusations. Extremely unprofessional!!!!"
