"IT'S RARE THAT I GIVE ANYBODY 5 STARS, I AM GIVING THIS PLACE FIVE STARS, I'VE HAD SHOES MY WHOLE LIFE THAT LITERALLY I STEP IN THEM & THEY GO ,THEY LITERALLY DISINTEGRATES AFTER 10 USES, I PURCHASED THE 154OV2 NEW BALANCE 8 MONTHS AGO I USE THEM EVERYDAY & THESE NEW BALANCE STILL ARE FIRM & BALANCED, FOUND SHOES THAT DEFEATED MY FEET MY MAN WAS SO SAD CAUSE HE WOULD ALWAY SEE ME WALKING & NOTICE MY SHOES TILTING TO ONE SIDE, HE SAID I WORKED TO HARD NOT TO HAVE A RIGHTEOUS SHOE."
"This place is great! Friendly AND knowledgeable service…. My husband went in about a year ago. He has moderate to severe foot pain that his podiatrist pretty much wrote off as “it is what it is” (not even kidding unfortunately, but that’s a different review!) They were attentive and listened, having him try a few different types of shoes (running/active) along with an orthotic insert. My husband left with a pair of shoes and inserts and has been near pain free since. He has a very active job and is an avid exercise junkie so this was a huge win. I developed pain in my foot recently that made weight bearing and walking unbearable at times. I too have an active job that keeps me on my feet most of the day. My doctor cleared me of any fracture or sprain saying I “just have some arthritis”. I went into the store hoping I could find something that would help and was once again impressed with the service. They LISTEN and take their time finding what works. They explained what exactly was causing the pain and, more importantly, how to relieve it. I left a very happy (optimistic and pain relieved) customer. This is a small business and I feel great supporting them. Their prices are competitive but don’t go in thinking you’ll be getting a Target or Walmart deal. These people care about the customers and want to ensure the are getting what’s best for them. I HIGHLY recommend trying them out if what you put on your feet is important to you."
"Great customer service. My feet are very happy since my purchase. The shoes feel like they were made just for me. This will not be my last visit to Shoes That Fit in Elk Grove!"
"Saved my feet! Doug helped me get my custom 3/4 length orthotic inserts and I purchased the sneaker he recommended, even though it was super expensive. He sized my foot correctly and I found out all these years I've been wearing shoes that are too small. I'm so glad I trusted him! With my new inserts and shoes, my plantar fasciitis finally healed. He adjusted my shoe type as my feet heeled and the new shoes are great. I am very pleased with the service and care Doug has provided. They take great care of your feet. I'm finally pain free, have comfortable heels, sneakers, sandals and work boots, thanks to this store and their knowledgeable employees. I can't recommend them enough!"
"Very poor experience with this organization. I am a disabled veteran that made the mistake of choosing this place for orthopedic insoles. When I received the vendor list from the VA I walked in and was promptly measured by an employee named Lisa. Lisa even suggested that the VA purchase shoes for me as well as orthodic insoles. I shared with her that I have several pairs of shoes but, she insisted that we try on shoes because she would try to get the VA to buy shoes for me. Within a week or so she called and asked to set up an appointment. I told her that I didn't want to make an appointment because my preference is to walk in just like before. She was very curt and said ok bye. I drove to the store and requested my paperwork so that I could go to another VA vendor. Lisa prepared the paperwork and handed it to me. I walked to my car and started reading the paperwork only to discover that Lisa had given me another veteran's personally identifiable information. Lisa came out and requested that I give her the information that belonged to the other veteran. I told Lisa that I would if she brought me the information that belonged to me. She refused and moments later the male person that was working with Lisa appeared at my car window and in a deep voice "we're going to need that paperwork back". I asked him to step away from my car and he told me that I could kiss his ass. I called the VA and reported this experience and requested that my consult be sent to Hanger. I will tell every veteran that I know not to patronize Shoes that Fit. Not 1 customer visited the during the entire ordeal. I destroyed the other veterans paperwork just as I told the purchasing agent at the VA I would."
