Thanks to ORNL, I recently ran out of gas in a bad part of town in the middle of the night because they shut my card down for fraud prevention when I tried to purchase gasoline in the town I reside in. Great interest rates and financing, but that matter's very little if I can’t access my money"

"Banked with ORNLFCU for over 20 years. We were actually one of the very first business accounts. I have nothing but five stars in every transaction I’ve ever had. We primarily use the Middlebrook Pike branch. Chris is awesome and so is everyone in there."

"Absolutely horrible non non-trustworthy bank. Very secretive about the process that they follow. You may be depositing checks that you think are deposited but they are not. You have to act like a detective to find this out."

"I have always had great experiences anytime I've been in a branch except when I visited this one. I needed to change my existing Spend Plus account to a Spend account. A gentlemen named Michael, who almost cracked a smile to greet us, closed out my account entirely without telling me. Very few words were exchanged during this transaction so I was under the impression the type of account had been changed, not deleted entirely. I only found out my account was closed after a personal check bounced and my mortgage, car and credit card payments were all returned to me and in return led to late fees. Proceed with caution at this branch."

"I hate ORNL Federal Credit Union, their customer service is the absolute worst. Nobody knows what they are talking about. My debit card was declined at Lowes and I called to try and resolve the issue and I must have talked to 10 different people. I was told the card had been put on faud alert regarding a 29.00 charge that I had made and they told me that would take the card off hold. I went back to the store to make another charge and my charge was again declined again. I called again and they told me my card had be reported lost or stolen and they transferred me around and around to another 10 or twelve people. I finally spoke with someone and they said that I need to just order a new debit card. These people don't know anything. PLEASE DO NOT BANK HERE, GO ELSEWHERE. I wish there was a rating less than one star because that is what they deserve."
