"I want to like this place but like many local businesses in memphis it has poor customer service. They always tell me to call to make sure prescriptions can be filled before I arrive which I do each time but I always end up waiting 40+ minutes for two prescriptions to be filled. Today I after 45 minutes of waiting and kindly asking the woman at the front desk if I could get an ETA on my prescriptions - because again they weren’t filled after I called hours in advance - I was told that only one person was working today and there’s no way of her knowing how long it could take. Most folks I know don’t have an hour to kill on any given week day. Not every employee is like this. Most are kind and patient but I’ve experienced this this last handful of times I’ve come to Madison."
"There were no customers in the store when I arrived. The cashier did not have a welcoming attitude, nor did she reciprocate my respectful manners as I addressed her and answered her questions. I know that my prescriptions were processed quickly because I saw her bring the bag down to the cashier stand. If she called my name, she didn't speak it loud enough for me to hear it and she never looked at me. I also know that those were my prescriptions because I found a text time stamped on my phone only minutes after I entered the store to let me know my prescriptions were ready. The bag just sat there while the line progressively got long and I was ignored. The cashier apparently does not process customers in the order we come into the store. I watched customers who came in after me being called up as well as many assisted who were making drink, snacks, and other random purchases. The parking is free for only 30 minutes. I had a tenant with me who has autism and he disappeared. So I had to go find him and I'll just have to return for my prescriptions. A sign posted by the cashier says, "Be Nice or Leave." Shouldn't kindness and respect begin with your customer service?"
"Wish I could give zero stars. Female pharmacist is very rude and refused to refill my prescriptions. Falsely accused me of not picking up my prescriptions. Slammed down the phone on me. Won't be giving them anymore business."
"Sometimes we drive all the way from Wynne, AR just to use this pharmacy. They always go out of their way to make sure the customer is satisfied. They also have lots of awesome products. The pharmacist, Rende, is so kind. Love my hometown pharmacy but also love this one!! Definitely a good place to stop to check out their compounded products if your in town."
"The front counter woman is unfriendly, unprofessional, and lazy. My first trip here was my last because of her. I wasn't happy with a big Corp pharmacy, and as my elderly mother needs more and more medications, I had been considering a change to the smaller Madison Pharmacy, as most small independent businesses thrive on excellent customer connections. Whoa boy Madison Pharmacy does not value customer communications based on the quality of service they offer for first contact. I had a fairly common script sent over this morning. The front desk staff said they didnt have it and to come back "later". I had to keep insisting until she finally went back to where the actual pharmacists are to ask. They had my prescriptions! They had been sent over 2 hours earlier, just like I had insisted to the barely functioning clerk. The actual pharmacists here are fast. It s the front end that is the problem. If they get some one that can actually do the most basic of customer service skills up front, then the parking hassle and limited operating hours might be worth it for some one like me with very rare prescriptions. However, if you need frequent medications this is not the right place for you. Their front end woman doesn't know and doesn't care."
