"I should have read the reviews more closely. Don't waste your money. Worst curly hair specific cut I have ever gotten. I could have gotten the same thing if I went to great clips and asked them to cut it dry for 1/4 the price. Literally no shape, style , and cut way more length off than necessary. She gets right to it when you come in despite saying I would like to discuss a plan before cutting . Says she just cuts by feel.......yep......that's clear. So disappointing. I'll go back to cutting my own hair."

"I do NOT recommend for a curly hair cut. I went in for a curly cut - I said from the bringing I knew my hair was damaged, that I was letting it grow out and only wanted the bare minimum removed. She started in the back of my head and had already finished cutting it, before showing me how much she was cutting off; at minimum 6 inches had been removed. She kept stating (once knowing that I was unhappy with the amount removed) that in the big picture, the amount of hair she cut off was nothing compared to the amount still on my head. By the end it did not look like any other curly cut I have received; it basically looked like she used the top of my layers as a guide and cut it straight across from there. (by straight I mean straighter than an arrow, there was no natural fall or look to my curls) This was a month ago and I had to wait this long to write a review in order to keep it civil. Nothing against Jan as a person, she very very personable, but her service left much to be desired."

"Just had a great experience getting my hair done today and thought I should tell the world! She got to know me a bit before the cut and helped me figure out the direction I wanted to go. "Jan is the best! She’s literally been doing my hair my whole entire life, I’ve never let anyone else touch it. She’s cut, trimmed, flat ironed, dyed etc and I have always been more thank pleased with the outcome. Last week I went in for a trim and we decided to do a deva cut instead. I absolutely love it, my curls are bouncier, shinier and my hair just overall looks great. I absolutely recommend her, especially if you have curly hair. Simply put, she knows what she’s doing."
