"I’ve brought designer shoes here around 4 times. Every time I had been happy with their work and I like supporting small businesses which is why I was willing to drive 1+ hour from the north bay, but unfortunately, this previous time was my last visit. Not only were my shoes not ready after 2 weeks but the hardware on two pairs of designer heels were left speckled full of black polish. I had to spend an hour carefully chipping it away since it was dry and did not come off easily. The prices have also almost doubled and I can’t justify spending that much for their 2 week wait time, plus the messy job that I had to fix."

"Amazing work. I have had many heels repaired here in the past and they do a great job. I have a pair of boots I could not part with that were pretty much done for and I had put off repairing. They re-soled, re-heeled—basically did an overhaul and they are like new. I also took in a pair of narrow suede slippers for my partner that has WIDE feet and they stretched them perfectly and didn’t lose any length. Some before and after photos of transformation of my hopefully forever (with their aid) boots. They are helpful and proud of the work they do and with that, will be honest if they will not be able to meet expectations. Thank you!"

"The woman who works here is always helpful, and truthful about the repair potential. Her work and judgement is terrific — I have had her replace worn heels on scuffed up boots ( that another local cobbler said they couldn’t do) and between the new heel and a polish the results were amazing . In another case she steered me away from ripping out an uncomfortable insole because replacement would be iffy based on the construction of the sole beneath it, and found me an insole that was thin enough to work laid on top of the original to solve the problem. She’s my go-to shoe repair person! She and her dad run a local, small business that I am happy to support, through what’s been a really difficult time these last 2 plus years ."

"My go to place for shoe repair and renovation. Vanessa does superior work at honest prices. This orthopedic shoe, currently in for renovation, is 9 years old and has been modified, re-soled and or re-heeled more than at least 6 times. They keep my mobility gear working."
