"It is no wonder this store got so bad review. I was there to return online order and they keep telling me how bad choice it is for me to return and asking me to down size. I just don’t want to! I feel I was forced to do things which makes me super uncomfortable. I have been frequent shopper of this brand, but I only do it online as the store experience is so bad."

"BE AWARE OF THE STORE! This is the rudest sales I ever seen. I today met a hoodie vest S’max Mara in one thousand more dollars. The short and thin vest is pricy certainly need to think for a while. And the Korean old lady so rude! I am returning customer. She welcome me nicely however when I said need to think minutes she through an ugly face and rude attitude instantly! Her suddenly hostile face changing made me surprise. I haven’t seen any business doing like this. So horrible! Like horror movie. This is a specific store only for people living in Los Altos Hill. I visited Max Mara in London, in Spain during the winter there were no one sales team trained like this aggressive. This image makes people feel sick in Palo Alto. People will know how poorly educated of the city Palo Alto."

"I wish I had checked the google reviews before entering this store. This is not a regular store of Maxmara，instead，it's a franchise store. So don't expect quality and conformable service as you can enjoy as other Maxmara stores. Here you feel full of subtle manipulation and tricks. Terrible customer service. 1. They don't tell you the return/refund policy （btw they don't offer refund）before you swipe your card. Once you pay for the item，you are trapped. There is no refund，and there is no way for exchanging the item once they offered to cut the tag for you and you agreed（of course they won't let you know in advance neither）. They would also encourage you to walk out of the shop with the new cloth on and then denied your exchange request based on the fact that you walked out of the shop wearing the new cloth. The manager will blame you by saying that you caused the damage to cover the quality issue of the item. The moment you pay for the item，even it's only 20 min after walking out of the shop，they won't admit the quality issue and will reject your request for exchange/credit. I never thought such petty tricks and traps would happen at a international brand store. Very disappointed and won't recommend any of my friends here，with terrible customer experience，mainly from the paranoid manager and the whole insincere manner."

"Brought my coat in for a repair and they said they had a tailor and told me the price. As I was about to hand them my coat, they said “bring it to the tailor yourself, we are a franchise store.” I’ve never experienced this kind of poor customer service at any other MaxMara store"

"Excellent, remarkable and best service I've actually ever received in a retail store. I wasn't dressed up and didn't look any part, and I was left alone to take my time browsing. Michelle was outstanding at giving me ideas and looks and bringing just the right sizes. I felt no pressure to buy, simply fell in love with almost everything I tried on here. Far better experience than wandering through a department store aimlessly and hoping to find just one thing and failing for any real help at all, which is usually my experience."
