"I am a cancer patient two years removed from a major surgery. Long story short, I had just recently found out I had another mass cutting off supply to my liver (via ER visit). The ER doc sent me home with a pain med prescription (by law only 12 pills) and told me to follow up with oncologist. My oncologist was unavailable immediately the following week so a very nice nurse that called to check on me suggest that I see one of their NPs and that she could schedule me with Carla the very next morning and bridge the gap before my appointment with my oncologist the following week. My appointment with Carla turned into anything but helpful. My wife was with me at the appointment. We walked out on Carla after Carla suggested/said she wasn’t taking me seriously. I highly recommend NOT using Carla Spurgeon for anything healthcare related. Imo she’s a glorified nurse that desperately wants to play doctor."
