"Usually I have a great experience here for gel manicures but it is a bit of hit and miss based on the technician. Annie did my nails today and it was just no good. Barely any cleaning, terrible polish application and barely shaped anything and it was so rushed!"

"I got acrylic and they are the definition of what I asked for and what I got. I had Kenny doing my nails and he would yell at me some times. I asked for colorful flowers not white and idk where he got the glitter idea from. They just dont look like my inspo picture at all. Also Kenny got some acrylic on my hand. Plus they are not all the same length. All in all I am not coming back."

"I’ve been here twice cause I just recently moved to the area. My pedicures have always been great but for some reason my manicures are always bad. The first time whatever gel they used destroyed my natural nail and the second time I got a regular manicure (no gel whatsoever) just a normal manicure and it wasn’t good either. "We moved to Thousand Oaks 18 months ago from the valley and needed to find our new nail shop. My daughter and I were trying to find a nail shop that we liked. After trying a few that we didn't like, we found Polka Dot! They are our go to and we go consistently every two weeks. All of the staff are funny, professional, and take pride in their work. They engage in conversation and make an effort to get to know you. We do Bio Gel nails and Gel Deluxe Pedicures and it's well worth the money. This is our relaxation and pampering time. The spa chairs are amazing. The prices are competitive and the top quality product's and the Volcano Spa products are amazing with the scents of the scrubs, leg mask, and lotions. The Milk and Honey Pedicure is also one of our favorites. There are tons of choices for polishes and the nail designs that the various technicians can do are top notch. Obviously, prices for designs vary based on the complexity of the design. The photos on their IG and FB pages are just a small sample of what they do. If you're looking for a new nail spot, try Polka Dot. I'd recommend making an appointment as they're getting pretty popular. All of the technicians are great."
