Most the reviews are old...this is 9 29 2023 ...had to redo my paint on my feet got agitated that I brought my own supplies( but I dont know how I got my infection on my finger) lady doing my hands her nails were disgusting and she was using her nails to wipe off the over polish....so, not a good time. I tried them before but will definitely not be back. Note . Use a brush not your nails...that's hasty And not ALL people like the tv gossip shows....play music! To please ALL your customers"

"The staff did a really terrible job of my daughter's nails and she left crying but paid and when we came back to ask them if they could stand by their work and product they would not. Please go to Lavish Nails and Spa they repaired her nails for $5 off the regular rate and treated her like a queen. Salon next door is also a great place for hair with a good management."

"I have gone to Nails by Rose twice now, and both times I came away disappointed. The first time was a couple of years ago, I wanted acrylics done, and family/friends all suggested this location. I made an appointment a week in advance, and when I got there, it was hectic, and they couldn't find my appointment. They switched people on me mid-way through putting on my acrylics, and they used the wrong colors for the acrylics. The second visit was last week. My usual salon closed down during Covid, so I looked around and saw Nails By Rose again. It has been several years, and looking down the reviews on Google, it looks like the salon has changed quite a bit, and people are pleased with the results. I went in for a pedicure. The people were nice enough, and the pedicure was mainly okay, but the manicurist who worked on my pedicure cut back my toenail back into the nail bed (which hurt when it happened and still hurts), so now I'm fighting off an ingrown toenail. I feel like this is a big mistake to make, and I am frustrated this happened, and after two bad visits, I won't be returning to this salon."

"While all the nail techs here are talented, Rose especially does fantastic work. I trust her to keep my nails natural looking and not glob on acrylic or gel polish like so many salons do. Prices are reasonable and the environment is nice. Bit of a hidden gem here in Newbury Park!"
