Hartford House Apartments

"There are constantly parties happening late at night, with a lot of people that don’t live there, drinking and being loud, and with that many extra guests you can never find a parking spot close to your apartment. Cars get broken into, car windows get broken and things get stolen out of them. Whenever something breaks, it takes weeks sometimes months for it to get fixed or they will send maintenance to your apt late at night. The drains and plumbing are so old that they don’t drain well they are always backing up sewage in your tub and sink. In the summertime the grass gets so tall it’s above your knees before they get it cut, so snakes come out of the woods right up to your door. There’s trash all over the parking lot, Random people sleeping under the stairwells , leaving bags and trash. It’s a lot and it’s ridiculous. Management does not take concerns seriously. If something happens in your apartment that could potentially be hazardous to the whole building, you would think that they would immediately find a solution or get someone over there to assess and they don’t. If they would enforce the rules and actually keep up with the property maintenance, it would be a lot better. Also if you get home past 7 or 8 pm there are no parking spots available and you have to park 3 buildings away from your building and walk in the dark and for a single female that’s very scary and unnecessary if the apartments would enforce guest parking and put a stop to the parties."

"I lived at Hartford House apartments for 14 years.The manager John and the maintenance team always responded quickly to any concerns. It is a quiet and well maintained property with a nice picnic area and swimming pool. I recommend these nice apartments."

"I have been a long time resident from 1998 until 2011 and it has always felt like home. Anything I needed done,the manager has always been attentive to the matter. They went above and beyond to make it home and I never had any issues with parking, car break-ins,neighbors. It has always been quiet. I unfortunately had to move due to my job,but I’d never hesitate to come back if needed."

"I’ve lived at Hartford House Apartments for three years, and I have recommended it to anyone looking for an affordable apartment in close proximity to downtown Nashville, among other locations. John, the property manager, has always been super helpful with whatever we need. The apartments are older, yes, but they are in good condition and are a good size for what you get. I haven’t had to make any noise complaints, and I feel safe in the neighborhood. We’ve just gotten new management, so I’m hoping there will be even better things to come!"
