"My partner and I moved in a little over a month ago and we couldn’t be happier! The team at the Knolls has been incredibly welcoming and supportive of us. Brian, Alaina and the maintenance team are absolute rockstars and I’d recommend the Knolls to anyone!"
"I’ll start with the good first. 1. Office staff is very friendly 2. Maintenance is responsive. 3. Location! The bad. It is currently 3:12am on January 20, 2024 and I’m here writing a review because this has been the 4th time I’ve been awaken with a strong smell of smoke and my air purifier going on full blast since I moved in October 2023. I’m hoping the smoking issue is isolated to just my building which is building 7. If you don’t mind constantly smelling an ash tray in the comfort of your home come on down, but if you do this is not the place for you. This property does claim to be a smoke free property. Property management failed to provide any snow or ice removal services to the parking lots, walk ways or stairs during this crazy winter storm. I mean it is a once in 30 year storm, however at least a little sand thrown down to help with traction would have been nice. I hope none of my fellow neighbors sustained any injuries. Now with location being one of the good things you would think property management would want to capitalize on that, however they failed on that too by making the gate that leads to Swiss rd an exit only. Dumbest thing I’ve ever encountered. That exit does provide quick and easy access to sprouts and Walmart, but when you want to come back you’re forced to use the entrance on old hickory. Trying to cross old hickory from 4-7pm should be an Olympic sport!! Hope you have good car insurance. It would bo so much safer and easier if we could use the gate on Swiss rd as an entrance as well. At least there is a traffic light to help with traffic at Swiss and nolensville. If property management would stand by their no smoking policy and make the Swiss gate an entrance as well I’d happily renew my lease. At this moment I’ll be actively seeking a different place to call home when that time arrives."
"I have been a resident at The Knolls for nearly 3 years now and have thoroughly enjoyed it. Office staff is extremely friendly and personable. Maintenance staff is quick and knowledgeable. Don’t plan on moving for quite some time!"
"I came here towards the end of last year to see if I could quickly see an apartment. I arrived close to when they close and I talked with some gentleman who said he could not do a tour because they had move ins to focus on. Their touring hours were slightly different than the office hours in the website and their touring stops at 5pm. I stopped by because I did not live in Nashville but worked there and had got off work and wanted to quickly view an apartment they had available. Nashville was a 1 hr and 15 min commute for me at the time. The guy told me to schedule an appointment because they had to get ready for move ins. No I’m sorry for the inconvenience and I’ll take your name and we can schedule something at a future date or anything to deescalate. It’s been a while back but my memory of the whole thing was the representative was insensitive and customer service skills were terrible. I later looked on the site at their touring times and there was no way I could travel in traffic and make the times they had available before they stop tours. If your customer service is terrible and you don’t see a need to put your touring hours if they are different from your office hours, I’m not wasting gas to travel on the weekend to see your property. Needless to say, for my apartment search I will not be choosing this place. In response to the management, I got there sometime from 5-5:15pm before 5:30pm. I was not told you do not tour after dark because the sun was out and you were still open. The man Edward said you all had move ins to focus on not safety issues. I can understand if it was dark I was told you do not tour for safety reasons I was told you had move ins to do."
"I have been a resident here for almost 3 years and I love it!! We also get two amazing resident events every month! Kellie the events coordinator is so kind and welcoming! Food, drinks, bon fires, games, prizes, and more! We have a great community full of friendly neighbors and the events are a great place to make friends!"
