"Ive been a resident for multiple years and the maintenance team is always quick and friendly to fix any issue I have! Royal Arms has had some growing pains since I first moved in, but the new management team has quickly addressed issues on the property like repaving the parking lots, over communicating when a safety event occurs, and answering questions fast. It is very clear they are going above and beyond to make Royal Arms great!"
"I was extremely skeptical when I read the Google reviews about Royal Arms when seeking housing for my daughter. However, our experience has been nothing but super positive from the first moment we contacted Kelle at Royal Arms to inquire about openings in July. There were zero hidden fees and the lease was very straight forward and easy to understand. Their customer service has been outstanding all the way around. The girls have had an ice maker go out. Once they put in the mainentance request, it was resolved with a day. On Monday night, their power went out and they contacted emergency maintenance. They immediately dispatched someone and the issue was resolved within a couple of hours. The apartment complex is an older complex, but my daughter's apartment is extremely nice and maintained well. She loves having access to the pools. There were some issues with rent in the payment portal this month and those issues were resolved immediately when I called. Jonathon was super helpful and patient with me as he explained everything. The most troubling reviews for me as a mother were the lack of safety reviews. My daughter told me this weekend and I confirmed today, they have hired security for the complex."
"I lived here a few years ago and had a near-perfect experience, so I expected the same upon moving back. Unfortunately, that was not the case. I moved in about three months ago and have had nothing but issues with the management here. We had a few simple maintenance issues upon moving in and despite letting management know and putting in a request online right away, we heard nothing for weeks. I went back to the office repeatedly to follow up and was always just told they would work on it. None of the issues were fixed for weeks even with constant reminders, one took over two months. However FAR worse than the maintenance issues have been billing problems. Since we moved in they had our billing messed up and charged us incorrect amounts. I brought this up to them many times and they just kept telling me that we owed them about $200 more than what we did. After a full month of pressing them about it, they finally looked into it and admitted I was right. This was after weeks of THEM calling US and leaving notes, threatening to force eviction if we did not pay. No one ever apologized and they refused to refund the late fee that we would not have owed if it were not for their negligence. We have also had repeated noise issues with our upstairs neighbor (extremely loud music) but were told that since he was a work-at-home musician there was nothing they could do. Our lease clearly states that disturbing levels of noice is not tolerated. I am incredibly disappointed in the direction these apartments have gone since I lived here last. I waited several months before posting this review because I was hoping the experience was a fluke and things would turn around, but unfortunately they haven't. I used to recommend them to everyone, now I would never. They have disrepsected my money, my time, and taken advantage of myself and my roommates. Do not move here if you are looking for a place that is dependable and will respect you as a tenant."
"The price is the only good thing I can write about this place. The complex has a serious roach problem. My room had very poor ventilation as the one vent only blew air out of half of the vent. My friends across the hall had the same problem, and the management blamed my mini fridge for heating up the room instead of solving the problem. Someone was shot in the parking lot while I was living there, and the management changed nothing for security and did nothing to notify anyone living there. The management eventually refused to respond to my emails, and they had no idea my roommate and I had to decided to move out at the end of our lease. My only assumption is that they had blocked us and missed our email as a result."
"I lived in Royal Arms for three years. I would highly recommend them! The people in the office knew me by name and exactly where I lived. It made me feel safe and secure. I also loved how fast maintenance was! I could put in a request in the morning and they would be there same day. The apartments are older, but they have a nice look to them that makes them feel newer. I would definitely recommend these apartments for anyone because of how safe I felt and the great location. I definitely enjoyed my time there!"
