"I just moved from FL to TN. Overall I've had a really pleasant experience leasing with the lakes at Bellevue. I will say the only downfall was move in day. My apartment was absolutely disgusting! It was so dirty there was even hair in the shower! Also there was white paint splashed all over the refrigerator, kitchen sink, cabinets. The bathroom faucet and thermostat looks so dirty like they need to be replaced. Because it's the kind of dirty looking that you can't clean off. I had one of the blinds just fall where the sliding door is. I didn't think they would replace the bathroom faucet or the thermostat cover. So I only asked about the blind which they promptly fixed. I cleaned everything and I'm currently trying to clean the paint off. There is a huge glob of white paint on the kitchen faucet. While that was so extremely disappointing. I actually really love it here! I love the apartment overall. It's so nice and quiet. Joe in the office worked with me on finding a unit and he has been nothing but helpful and pleasant. If the unit wasn't so dirty I could have given 5 stars. I'm so happy with my decision though. This is only my 3rd day but it seems like such a great place to live."
"I moved in about a month ago and so far I have no complaints. The apartment complex feels safe and has so many amenities. The WiFi lounge is perfect for studying, it is quiet and has a lot of space. I am looking forward to summer so I can use the pools and car wash!"
"The Lakes at Bellevue has been a very pleasant place to live. Management and maintenance are impressively communicative and responsive. There has never been a time I've reached out and not received a very quick response and the request handled. Also, the grounds are kept up very nicely and it is a peaceful and pretty complex. The interior of the apartments is also nicely maintained. I highly recommend The Lakes to anyone looking to live in a quiet, tidy, and professionally-run apartment complex."
"The Lakes is overall, a good place to live. The leasing office and maintenance team are wonderful, the grounds are beautiful, the community amenities are nice. I loved taking walks around the property and it was gorgeous as the seasons changed. My neighbors were friendly and it was so amazing being close to grocery stores and restaurants. My actual unit was mostly great, there were a few minor downsides: I had pest challenges with tree roaches, ants, sometimes even a moth or two. Each time I brought this to the attention of the leasing office, they did respond quickly and get it taken care of, it was just not ideal to be experiencing it in the first place. The porches are made of wood, and I imagine they're difficult for maintenance to keep in good shape. There is a lot of wildlife in the area which means squirrels, birds, etc., could be visiting your porch and eating at the wood. The living room could get quite dark because there wasn't a ceiling fan/light and there was minimal natural light where my unit was located. I did find that the ceilings/walls were not soundproof, and could hear my neighbors walking or playing music above me often. The buildings are old, even if the units have been remodeled/updated, so there were some mold issues due to poor ventilation, but again it was swiftly taken care of by maintenance. I understand most of these things mentioned above are completely out of the control of The Lakes management, but wanted to provide an honest review to help future residents!"
