"DO NOT LIVE HERE. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. I will be reporting them to the Nashville Property Standards Division and I encourage everyone else to as well! I have been living here for 8 months now and I regret all of it. My lease overlapped for two weeks and I requested all of the holes and ceilings be fixed prior to the date I’d be living there entirely. My biggest request to have the giant hole under my sink fixed has gone ignored the entirety of my lease. I’ve also requested my AC unit be looked at (because it is constantly turning on and off and my utility bill is edging on $300 despite me leaving my unit on 68 and unplugging everything I’m not using) and they told me I just had to push the switch down - where it already was and self releases. I’ve dealt with many cockroaches and even input a request to have pest control come out to address the issue but they keep coming - probably from the hole under my sink that leads into the open crawl space. In January, my toilet stopped working for 9 days. Maintenance came four hours after I placed the request and told me there was nothing to be done until it thaws since the crawl space under my apartment was so cold. My other pipes were fine and it only took 4 hours for my toilet to freeze. As I’m sure everyone knows, one bedroom one bathroom means you only have one toilet in your entire apartment. So I had to find alternative housing for nine days until my toilet was able to thaw out and they were able to fix it, which only led to another leak from the toilet and wall that displaced me for another two days. Finally I thought that would be the end of it, what else could go wrong?? My shower tub. I’d requested in December to have the shower checked. My hot water nozzle in my tub/shower was constantly hot to the touch and leaking a steady stream of hot water while turned on. After maintenance checked it, they said it everything was fine and they just turned down the temp on my water heater making my hot water temp inconsistent. Two weeks ago I noticed water leaking from under my tub into my bathroom. After a few days maintenance says it’s been remedied. I’ve since decided to continue living with the boyfriend I’d stayed with back in January after the toilet fiasco and paying my rent while asking -without response until today -to have the 9 days I was unable to use my own toilet and this reside in my apartment prorated from my monthly rent. I was told they wouldn’t provide concessions and that they do not provide concessions on work orders."
"I have lived here for just about a year and I will not be coming back. In my small time here, we have had cockroach infestations and other bugs, all throughout the summer. Our AC was broken when we first moved in when it was a 90 degree week and it wasn’t fixed for over two weeks. Additionally, we have made small requests that need fixing such as our washer needing a part and the bug problem. Both of these times, maintenance took weeks if not months to resolve the issue. I put in a request for our washer problem to be resolved and I was told it needed a part to be ordered. That was about 3-4 months ago. They just came this week to fix it, without any warning or knocking before entering our apartment. Even after my security alarm went off, the maintenance continued to enter. Other than that, we believed the apartment would be affordable, but you get what you pay for. The floor has paint splatters, our cabinets were “renovated”, meaning a thick coat of white paint was slapped on top of it, which left it tacky to the touch. Wallpaper is falling off the walls, the paint chips extremely easily, our window and our back door does not open, and the cabinets in the kitchen don’t close all the way. I really tried to work out the kinks, but this place is not taken care of. Take a drive through the complex and you can see that there is not one path that isn’t covered in a pothole. The stop signs, street signs, and light poles have all fallen over or been knocked over and not replaced. Our electric bill was $315 this past month with our heat being set to 62-64 degrees all month. When the snowstorm hit, nothing was shoveled or salted and people were trying to gain enough momentum to drive up the hill. At this point, I don’t think they are even trying to take care of the complex. I don’t write reviews, but I want to prevent people from having a horrible living space like I did this past year. The lack of security, cleanliness, and lack of maintenance is the reason why you should not move in here. It is not worth the price."
"If I could give a negative star I would. This place is a slum. Buildings are falling apart inside and out. Front door does not close properly, I can see outside light. My apartment is un level. Cracks in walls, kitchen courts cracked. Mold, bugs, dog poo everywhere. Maintenance is awful. Nice guys but they can’t fix anything. Basketball court has no nets, volleyball sand is gross and no nets. All summer they had 7 chairs for both pools. Crack break ins, pool always being trashed over night. Cameras are fake. Staff rude. Rent is low but this is why. Do not be fooled ."
"Please take the reviews seriously and save yourself the trouble of living here. Unless you have a great attorney but I’m assuming if this is the place you choose to live then you probably don’t. The absolute worst place I’ve ever lived. This place really doesn’t deserve a single star. I really wish I had read the reviews before I considered living here. I’ve lived in the Bellevue West apartment for a little over a year now. I honestly can’t believe they advertise as luxury apartments. I’ve never been in a more run down apartment complex in my life and I can’t wait for this lease to end. My roommate and I went without a dryer for over two months and every time they “fixed” it, it broke again within the week. The insulation is absolutely terrible. Our power bill for just two people is 530 this month because our apartment cannot hold heat at all. When it was snowing, our heat ran constantly at 60 degrees but our apartment never got above 56. Therefore our heat ran continuously without ever stopping. While we knew that it would run up our bill, we had no choice. It was either that or freeze to death. Now we’ve been dealing with an awful smell that we think is a dead animal in our vents. It’s been like this for about a month now and still no one has fixed it. It’s very unhealthy to breathe that kind of thing in constantly. We’ve reached out over and over on every platform possible and even gone to the office. The only thing that came from all that was empty promises and rude management. They do not answer the phones even half of the time when you call the office. I’ve never received a response to a single email or message on resident portal. The only thing that has ever gotten a response is actually going down to the office but even that doesn’t always insure that the maintenance people will show up. The management here is honestly unacceptable. I don’t know what they actually do with their time at work other than add a cookie cutter message to all these horrific reviews on google. But rest assured, that phone number and email they’re putting at the bottom of these reviews will not get you a response. I am actually embarrassed to have any family or friends come and visit this place. At almost 1600 a month, the price is wayyy to high for what you’re getting here. This place should be torn down and rebuilt by an entirely new company."
"Please read these reviews carefully. If I could leave 0 starts I would. If I had also read the reviews before moving into Bellevue West, I wouldn’t have ever moved in. The management is terrible, maintenance is horrible, and safety is a huge concern. Bellevue West, also known as Hellview West, is one of the worst places I’ve ever seen. It is Antioch quality in a decent area that’s caused the area to even go downhill quick. There are residents who sit outside with guns, car break ins, and even other resident who walk into other apartment units if there are doors unlocked. Management said that this individual passed the background check even though he was under the influence and entered a unit that didn’t belong to him. Maintenance left a patio door shattered and unfixed for almost 2 weeks. Additionally, my AC was out for over half the summer and my utility bill was still $150+ for just myself. If I could go back and heed the warnings that these reviews give, I would. It appears that they may be in the re-branding process due to so many bad reviews and/or lawsuits. Please, please, please save yourself the pain and suffering of living at any of these properties. When I tried to contact the actually higher up property management to formally submit a complaint on a staff member there was no process that allowed me to do so and I ended up getting a lawyer involved. The price may be low, but I promise there’s going to be a price you pay just to live here that is more than just a horrible experience."
